Overview
EN ISO 15465:2004 - Pipework: Stripwound metal hoses and hose assemblies (ISO 15465:2004) defines requirements for the design, manufacture and testing of stripwound metal hoses and hose assemblies. It consolidates earlier stripwound hose standards into a single base document covering four principal hose types (single- and double-overlap, both unpacked and packed). Hoses are specified in nominal sizes DN 6 to DN 500 and may be used at temperatures up to 600 °C depending on materials. Only the double-overlap packed design is specified for pressure applications (maximum permissible pressures up to 40 bar).
