EN ISO 19932-1:2025 - Equipment for crop protection - Knapsack sprayers - Part 1: Safety and environmental requirements (ISO 19932-1:2025) is the updated CEN/ISO standard that defines safety and environmental requirements and means of verification for knapsack sprayers carried on the operator’s back or shoulder and intended for use with plant protection products. It applies to lever-operated, compression and engine/electric motor-driven knapsack sprayers that use hydraulic atomisation and have a nominal volume > 6.0 L, for use primarily in agriculture, forestry and horticulture. This edition supersedes EN ISO 19932-1:2013 and is intended to be used together with ISO 19932-2:2025.
