EN ISO 25197:2020/A1:2022 (Small craft - Electrical/electronic control systems for steering, shift and throttle - Amendment 1) is a CEN-adopted amendment to ISO 25197:2020. It updates normative references, clarifies terminology and user-interface requirements, and adds specific provisions for dynamic positioning systems (DPS) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing. The standard applies to the design, construction and testing of electrical/electronic steering, shift and throttle systems and dynamic positioning control systems on small craft with hull length up to 24 m. EMC and testing: Updates reference test methods and immunity requirements to current IEC editions for radiated RF immunity and voltage dip/variation testing.
